Davis Dam

Located on the Colorado River about 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Laughlin, Nevada, Davis Dam is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the United States. Built between 1931 and 1936 by the Bureau of Reclamation as part of the Boulder Canyon Project, it impounds Lake Mohave which extends upstream nearly to Hoover Dam.

Davis Dam has four generators that can produce 750 MW each and were refurbished in 2008 by Bechtel Corporation. A fifth generator was added in 2010 for US$355 million; this unit can generate up to 810 MW but it produces only during periods of peak electrical demand.

This westernmost part of Lake Havasu lies south across the river from Needles, California; this area is commonly referred to as “Arizona Beach”.

Riverwalk Trail

The Riverwalk Trail is located in Bullhead City, AZ, and is open all year long. This 2.2-mile loop trail is easy to walk and has a flat terrain. The trail is open to hikers, bikers, and equestrians so be aware of oncoming traffic or you might get run over by a horse!

The Riverwalk Trail starts at the end of Mill Avenue where it intersects with Division Street. The trail takes you through residential areas with houses on both sides of the path as well as schools. You will also pass by a clubhouse where many people go swimming in the summer months because there’s an Olympic-sized pool inside it (it’s only open during summer hours). It also has many water hazards that add another layer of difficulty to your round!

There is no pro shop on site; however there are plenty of food options available so you can eat before or after your round at one of several nearby restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings®, Dairy Queen®, Pizza Hut®, Sonic® Drive-In®, Subway® Sandwiches & Salads (inside Walmart), Taco Bell® Mexican Grill/Pizza Hut Express® (inside Walmart).

Grapevine Canyon Petroglyphs, Laughlin, NV 89029, USA

Grapevine Canyon is located in Laughlin, NV. The petroglyphs are accessible by foot and vehicle. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. The cost of admission is $3 per person or $15 for an annual pass that can be used at other parks in the area. There are restrooms available on-site as well as drinking fountains and picnic tables.

Bring a camera because you will want to take lots of pictures! Wear comfortable shoes, as there is a lot of walking involved at this location. It’s recommended that you bring sunscreen and water if it’s hot outside! Pets are allowed on leashes but not in buildings or from May 1st until September 30th each year due to fire restrictions set by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

To get there, take US 95 north from Las Vegas for about three hours until you reach Laughlin/Bullhead City/Kingman – exit at Nevada Route 163/Arizona Avenue (exit 28). Turn left onto Arizona Avenue (south) then left onto Nevada Highway 161 which turns into Riverside Drive after crossing into Nevada; turn left onto Riverside Drive then right onto Bullhead Road just before the Railroad Bridge; continue straight ahead past several intersections including one with “Hum Bug Alley” then turn right onto Riverside Drive again into Grapevine Canyon Petroglyph Site parking lot where there will be signs directing visitors towards their destination

Emerald Canyon Golf Course

The Emerald Canyon Golf Course is a par-72 golf course designed by Pete Dye. The course has a rating of 74.1 and a slope of 137.

The course was created to be challenging for both amateurs and pros alike. While some holes are shorter than others, the majority of them require you to hit your shots accurately if you want to score well on this course.
